Welcome

Welcome to our website; We wanted to put all the information about our wedding here, in one spot for all our guests. We are super excited to be able to share this special day with all our friends and family that we cherish in our lives.

The wedding shall take place in Caledon, Ontario - on the farm where Taylor grew up. The ceremony will be held in the barn and the reception to follow in another building on the same property.

We are counting down the days until we say “I do” and we hope you will join us in each step we take as we get closer to our big day!

*Please check back periodically for further updates on timing and information - we will provide information on Accommodations

Our Story

For me, it all started when I left Ontario to work in Alberta. I was leaving behind my friends and family and went off on an adventure to a new place and a new job. I loved it - so much so that even after a crazy time, I came back for another season. This is the point in which the majority of my family started with the gentle reminder that Alberta is far - so I should try not to get too attached!

Then I met Frank - and I got attached. Our first date was to a cafe called Lime Blu for ice cream. We chatted and laughed, and he toured me around Fort Vermilion. He was hilarious, sweet and a gentleman - at least until he kicked me to the curb! Our first date ended with the tones of his radio - Frank, as a volunteer for the Fire department was called out, but in truth he still was very much a gentleman regardless of our date being cut short.

We grew from there - we are complete opposites and yet that makes us perfect for each other. Most of our relationship was long distance - and it was hard. But I know that it was made easier because some of the best moments of my life have been with Frank by my side and I know that there will be many more to come.

Frank proposed to me one night, on one knee, in the snow. It was calm and a clear night with the stars out, and it was like something out of one of the millions of romance novels I read. But this one was mine. And it was perfect. So apologies to friends and family in Ontario - but I am very happily attached.

I was living a busy farmer life in Fort Vermilion working long days, living that bachelor life and then WHAM! This beautiful Lady dropped into my life, I didn't know what to think at first - but she laughed at my jokes, smiled and was all round adorable in her awkwardness. We had our first date at Lime Blu Cafe for ice cream. Taylor had yet to see much of Fort Vermilion, so I offered to tour her around.

Low and behold, as fate does, when I make plans, the tones go off. A fire call. Right when I was trying to woo this wonderful woman. I felt so bad we had to cut our date short and was hoping that I didn't mess it up. As it turns out I didn't. We have been together for 3 years now. Some of that time we were in the same province, and some time in different time zones. We have had adventures, road tips, countless hours spent together on video chats and lots of messaging in between. Moreover, I learned that distance means so little when someone means so much.

I realized that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her by my side. The next little while I tried to figure out how to get her ring size and what style she liked without her finding out and I bought the ring on a trip down south - and kept it in a safe place until it was time to make the trek to Ontario. With the ring - and Taylor in the car, we set out for a 5 day road trip. The whole time she didn't know the ring was there, but I did. And now, she will wear the ring that I picked out for her for the rest of our lives together.
